The field of science gives you a variety of choices for your career. The general areas of science are the Natural Sciences, Formal Sciences, Social Sciences and Applied Sciences. Under the Natural Sciences are the subfields physical sciences and life sciences. Under the subfield physical sciences are chemistry, physics, astronomy, Earth sciences and environmental sciences.  Formal sciences include Computer sciences,  Mathematics,  Statistics and  Systems science Some positions under the Social sciences are Anthropology, Economics, Linguistics, Psychology, Geography, Philosophy, Political science and Sociology.
