Governor Christie declared that the political environment was ripe to bring about bipartisan support for the fundamental education reforms, after sparring with the Democratic congressman from California over the role of teachers’ union. Five recipients receive the pay-it-forward awards from bryant & stratton college online

In an announcement made today by Bryant & Stratton College, it declared that five of its deserving students would be awarded full-tuition Pay-It-Forward Scholarships. The students would attend the Bryant & Stratton College Online. There was also a second full-tuition scholarship (Pay-It-Forward) which was awarded to someone else. Cyber security research center created by UTSA college of business

The Center for Education and Research in Information and Infrastructure Security (CERI) has been established by The University of Texas at San Antonio College of Business (UTSA). Dr. Fred Chang who is the AT&T Distinguished Chair in Infrastructure Assurance and Security in the College of Business would be at the helm of CERI. The center would foster student involvement in research in the College of Business and would be conducting high-impact research in Information Assurance and Security. Community colleges and their online education trends

There has been a 9% increase in the distance education enrollments that has been reported by Community Colleges starting from fall of 2009 to fall of 2010. This report is as per the national survey which released its report of two-year institutions on Tuesday by the Instructional Technology Council which is an affiliated council of the American Association of Community Colleges. Christie administration increases state average spending per pupil

The amount that the New Jersey Public School districts spend per pupil has been increased by the Christie administration. The state average rate has been increased by several thousands of dollars and amounts to $17,800. The state average during the 2008-2009 was around $13,200 per student and the costs had been adjusted during the 2009-2010 school year where other costs were included such as transportation, debt payments, federal funding, as well as legal judgments that could vary to a large extent from one district to another.
