Thousands of Utah students seem to be attracted to virtual classrooms

Some of the Utah students managed to earn school credits without actually going to school physically. Around 9,000 students from the state used the cyberspace to attend virtual classes, in the past year alone. Brenda Hales is the Associate Superintendent at Utah State Office of Education. She states that there are 3 reasons for the change in preference in schooling. The main reason is that because they want to make up credit, it could be credit recovery, or because these students who wish to extend their course work, have many more classes than what is allowed as per the schedule. … (more) September 20, 2011

Online education – making a new beginning

It is that time of the year, when we should all be questioning if what is being currently spent on college education is really worth it. At the beginning of each new academic year, we see anxious students streaming into classrooms on the very first day. As each new school year unfolds, the new tuition bills also arrive via mail.
