Health Care career oppotunities await practitioners and professionals as Pensyllvania Governor Edward G. Rendell signed Senate Bill 174 on July 2, 2010 in Harrisburg, Pensyllvania. Senate Bill 174, or SB174, mandates the permanence of the Pennsylvania Center for Health Careers (PCHC) in the state’s workforce development system, known as the the Pennsylvania Work force Investment Brd (PA WIB). PA WIB is the governor’s policy advisor in the establishment of a strong work force dev’t system. Baby Boomers Make Healthcare Industry Grow

According to the U.S. Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics, seven out of the ten fastest-growing jobs in the country is in the health care between 2004 and 2014. Meanwhile, Forbes magazine’s Hannah Clark reported in 2007 that 17 out of the top 30 fastest-growing jobs are health care related.
