Online Human Resources Courses

Online Human Resources CoursesAn online human resources certificate prepares one for a career as a global professional of human resources (GPHR), professional in human resources (PHR), and senior professional in human resources (SPHR). Some HR managers in the United States earn as much as $120,000 to $140,000 per annum on their basic salary rate.

The need for HR managers is huge because every company, organization, and even federal agencies want to make sure that its workforce remains productive and motivated towards achieving its goals. HR directors are tasked to add qualified people to an existing workforce, design and implement employee benefits, determine compensation, and to train and develop every employee they have. HR directors are also responsible for retaining the most qualified employees.

HR courses are offered in bachelor's and master's programs. Credit hours are naturally shorter for the master's program, but they are generally more intensive. Short courses are also available for professionals, with emphasis on practical and hands-on training. Learning models are varied to promote maximum learning at the shortest possible time.
