Associate in Arts in General Studies
The Associate in Arts in General Studies is a course that is provided by Strayer University. This course provides a basic knowledge of various subjects like history, philosophy, psychology, life science, statistics, mathematics and physical sciences. This enables the students to either pursue higher studies in one of these subjects or opt for any job, thanks to the wide range of knowledge gained.
Students who would like to take on various job roles will have classes on various skills like writing, communication and interpersonal skills. This readies them for jobs in the healthcare sector, education, sales, marketing and management.
The various courses that will be covered in this program are sociology, pre-calculus, economics, US History, biology, public speaking, chemistry and western world literature in addition to critical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills.
