Master of Arts in Marketplace Chaplaincy

Christianity is still one of the leading faiths in the world. However, there are ministries are in still need of people who are willing to be part of spreading the word of Jesus Christ, especially to those who yearn for it. This kind of purpose is what the University of Liberty aims.

The devoted and professional doctors of Master of Arts in Marketplace Chaplaincy will challenge students intellectually, spiritually, and personally, that prepares them in succeeding in careers like company chaplain, marketplace chaplain, and non-profit organization chaplain.

The courses that are included in this program include two types; one is the lecture type, while the other is intensive-field type. The first type will lecture students about the Gospels. There are issues that will be presented regarding culture and theology that the students must examine and analyze. The second type will undergo participant-observation, to better understand the differences and similarities among the various types of chaplaincies, which will also indulge in pluralistic religion, multicultural and multi-staff environments. These two processes will make the students qualified working in correctional, eldercare homes, hospitals, and industrial settings.
