Master of Arts in Religion

Religion is a very interesting field of study. There are people who choose to devote their time and skills in studying religion, in order to deliver their passion of teaching religion. The University of Liberty, being the world's largest evangelical university, includes Christian values into all degree programs, which challenges students personally, emotionally, and mentally.

The study includes thorough understanding in the scriptures of the Christian faith. This program provides courses about the fundamentals of the Bible, Christianity, Christian theology, and the Christian church. The study of religion, however, has different specializations that the students must choose. There are Leadership, Biblical Studies, Church Ministries, Evangelism and Church Planting, Pastoral Counseling, Pre-Pastoral, Worship Studies, Theology and Apologetics. The program is designed for those who want to be pastors, Christian educators, lay leaders, and pastor's wives.

Master of Arts in Religion builds leaders in the position of Associate Pastor, Church Administrator, Church Education Administrator, Lay Leader, Missionary, and Youth Pastor.
