Master of Divinity - Worship Studies

Worship leaders are an essential part of the Christian church. They lead the praise for the God they all believe in, using the highest form of praise which is worshipping. Remember that there are certain things that must be studied in order to fully understand the importance of worship and to facilitate worshipping in every church service. A person leading the act of worship must be able to know the underlying principles of worship.

First, the individuals who are enrolled in this degree will undergo intensive lecturing about the role of the worship leader in facilitating worship. As the person studies the biblical scriptures pertaining to this field of specialization the individual chose, he will also learn the biblical bases for the act of worship. From this theological foundation and background about worship, the person will be able to assume roles as worship leader, music ministry member, and a variety of other pastoral roles.
