Associate of Arts in Business Management

Ohio Christian University's Associate of Arts in Business Management is a degree that is suited for professionals who wish to transfer to a four-year program, and develop marketable skills within an abbreviated period of time. This degree prepares them for a career in supervising employees and operations in a business setting. Graduates of this degree can also move to practice and obtain a wide range of management positions, such as in personnel management, office, sales, inventory or production manager. They may also opt to pursue further studies in the business management area.

Students pursuing this Associate of Arts degree will develop certain skills, aside from familiarizing themselves with business principles. These include accounting skills, analytical skills, communication skills, leadership skills, marketing skills, problem solving skills and technical skills. They will take several courses such as Introduction to Computers, Introduction to Math Systems, Business Math, Accounting, Management Principles, Bible Study Methods, and Life of Christ/Gospels among others. The university designed this degree with the idea of the application of a Christian worldview to business and leadership practices.
