Associate of Arts in Foundations of Business

The University of Phoenix and its Axia College is now offering the Associate of Arts in Foundations of Business. The program, which is given entirely online, provides students with an overview of business, and how they can apply such in different specializations. The course will jab at different areas, such as the Communication Arts, the Social Sciences, Mathematics, Life Sciences and Humanities.

The curriculum of the course will develop skills of the students in writing, critical thinking, and information utilization, for better application of what has been learned. Topics in business, global business, accounting, economics and finance will be taught as well, along with marketing. After the course, students will be able to take a look at the fundamental business principles, and will learn how they can apply different problem solving strategies to real life scenarios. Effects of culture and ethics in the global and domestic environments today will be discussed as well.
