B.S. in Accounting/Government-Nonprofit Accountancy

The Bachelor of Science in Accounting/ Government - Nonprofit Accountancy is a degree course that can be availed from Kaplan University. The course will cover all the relevant concepts of accountancy with focus on serving nonprofit organizations.

This is a two year degree program that has a comprehensive program curriculum that provides a strong foothold not only in the field of accounting but also in various facets of running a business. The main sections covered are the principles and procedures in accounting, accounting laws, tax procedures and law, auditing principles and procedures and cost and tax accounting. The students will gain knowledge in the fundamentals of finance, business laws and management, economics and relevant computer applications.

Students will be versatile in communication, decision making, team work and leadership, in addition to the other knowledge they gain. On completion of the program, they can look for jobs in non profit units and governmental organizations.
