BS - Project Management

Project management is the process of accomplishing a defined business project proposal. Project managers are the ones involved in planning, organizing and completing prospected projects on time and within the budget. A Bachelor of Science in Project Management will provide students with the proper knowledge and skills that will make each project they make successful. With proper training, students will gain skills in decision-making, problem-solving, risk strategies, time and financial management.

Degree programs are available through the distant learning approach via online methods. Capella University is a Registered Education Provider of the Project Management Institute (PMI), which will allow students to earn their bachelor's degree and professional development units (PDUs) from the PMI at the same time. Courses may include Project Management Principles, Managing Project Risks and Opportunities, Financial Management, and Global Strategic Management, among others. Graduates will be able to enter employment in corporations, consulting firms, government agencies, or physician's offices.
