Master of Science in Accounting

Regis University's Master of Science in Accounting was developed to allow those interested in accounting to broaden and deepen their Accounting skills. The MS in Accounting is fit for seasoned professionals who want to both broaden and deepen their knowledge and skills in accounting. In addition, the classes may help the student meet the 50 Hour Requirement for the CPA Exam and/or the requirements for the CMA designation.
The Master of Science in Accounting program is designed to allow career-oriented adults and accounting professionals to complete their entire MS in Accounting degree online, or to choose the classroom-based format, whichever format best fits their lifestyle. In the past several years, accounting fraud at some of the nation's most notable corporations has changed the face of the accounting industry. Significant changes have been made to the regulations surrounding financial reporting of public companies, and the creation of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act has created an unprecedented demand for accountants and auditors, both at corporations and accounting firms across the country.
