Master of Science in Organizational Leadership

The Master of Science in Organizational Leadership is a convenient seven-week academic program offered by Quinnipiac University. The curriculum is designed to foster graduate-level growth and development in six areas essential to leadership: 1) Self-awareness and growth; 2) Interpersonal and communication skills; 3) Ethics of leadership; 4) Understanding, interpreting and using data to improve performance; 5) Understanding and leading organizations and complex teams and; 6) Strategic analysis and implementation.

The program is writing intensive, building on the university's emphasis on effective writing. This emphasis is consistent with expectations consistently voiced by business leaders.

The university combines online learning with three half-day Saturday on-campus meetings per term, academic and personal support services, engaging educational experience that includes real-world examples, faculty team with extensive industry experience, and instructors who provide the personalized attention needed for a meaningful learning environment.

Quinnipiac University grants undergraduate, graduate, and professional degrees. It was founded in 1929 by Samuel W. Tator, a business professor and politician. Originally, Quinnipiac was located in New Haven and called Connecticut College of Commerce. In 1951, the institution was renamed Quinnipiac College, in honor of the Quinnipiac Indian tribe that once inhabited Greater New Haven. On July 1, 2000, the school officially changed its name to Quinnipiac University - to reflect its relatively new breadth in academic offerings. That same year, Quinnipiac University received accreditation by AACSB.
