M.S. in Leadership - Self-Designed

Walden University offers M.S. in Leadership - Self-Designed in their aim to produce leaders who will be globally competent without sacrificing ethics. These leaders should be the forerunners in helping their communities, organizations, and the world advance. This degree helps a person explore leadership styles that can be used to motivate others and build a working team that is both diverse and highly competitive. This degree is geared towards developing a comprehensive approach to leadership that crossed functional areas and increases one's capacity to influence people towards achieving a common goal.

In this particular degree, one can design his or her own specialization and customize the program that interests him or her. A student can gain unique experiences by combining specialization "application" courses, study abroad, or field study. A student can choose two of the three options, although study abroad and field study can only be chosen once, to create a program that suits your interests. There will be additional costs for study abroad option and prior academic approval is required for field study option.
