With computers and the Internet playing a major role in contemporary business, the need for Information Systems and Technology professionals are steadily increasing. As more and more companies store information in their own database, the need to protect these data has become even more crucial. In the attempt to address the need for advanced information systems methodology, South University is now offering a Master of Science in Information Systems and Technology with special focus in Information Security.

The program uses a practical-based approach that allowing students to understand the requirements of real-world business. It trains students in the advanced internet algorithms security, computer security forensics and network security. The program is also designed for individuals who are geared for management positions and includes courses on Organizational Behavior and Communication. To complete the course, a student has to finish 5 foundation courses, 6 specialization courses and 1 capstone course with emphasis in computer security.
