M.S. in Software Engineering - Design

Technological advances have surely aided the field of engineering, and in the same way, the advances in engineering has improved technology. The need for software engineers to facilitate this cycle is rapidly increasing and with this came the need for further education.

As a response for this need, Walden University started offering an MS in Software Engineering, with special focus on Design. The course discusses the latest innovations and methodologies which can be used in the development of software. Aside from the technicalities of the process, the course also tackles topics involving software project management, quality control and testing. It also helps students to determine whether the projected usability of software will help improve the ROI that can offset the cost of software development.

Through this track, students will be able to know how to select the appropriate technologies and architectures which they will use in each of their projects. It allows individuals with background in software engineering to creating cutting edge products which are compatible to different platforms used for the same purpose.
