BS in Secondary Education: Business Education

This secondary education degree program, with emphasis on Business Education, is offered by Grand Canyon University's College of Education, in relation with the College of Liberal Arts. This course will consist of subjects in both education and business. Educational psychology, teaching methodologies, curriculum development and classroom management will be taught in the education facet. For the business aspect, the individual enrolled in this course will encounter various business theories and models alongside business instructions, in which the integration of these business concepts into the teaching aspect learned side by side.

As member of the Interstate New Teacher Support and Assessment Consortium Standards, GCU's course curriculum is a well engineered degree program that produces the most well adept teachers for the field of business education. And to further boost the skills of the students of this degree program, GCU incorporated into its course curriculum a 16-week teaching component which requires their students to apply what they have learned in practical settings.
