Master of Arts in Education / Teacher Leadership

Teaching P-12 is not an easy task. What makes it look easy is the skill and competency of the teacher handling a very difficult field. The University of Phoenix has opened online the course Master of Arts in Education with a concentration in Teacher Leadership, designed for P-12 teachers who define themselves as learners, teachers, and leaders.
This online degree program's curriculum covers the many important elements of student teaching and educational research - collaboration, coaching and mentoring, decision making, planning, action research, and evaluation - so as to become effective educators in this field of expertise.
Being a good teacher is not learned overnight. There are only a few exceptional cases where one would have a natural aptitude to teach. It requires a lot of experience, mentoring, and a in-depth knowledge of the elements of teaching.
This course would familiarize the students of the different situations they may meet in the classroom setting. Students will be inculcated with the special knowledge and competent skills for a high level of performance in the field of teaching.
