M.S. in Education - Adolescent Literacy and Technology (Grades 6 12)

Adolescence is a very critical stage for children. Whatever children adapt in such stage will mostly likely be carried on until their adult years. That is the main reason why there is a need for educators who can teach children in the 6th grade until they reach their twelfth, Adolescent Literacy and Technology. Walden University is offering a Master of Science in Education, with the concentration in Adolescent Literacy and Technology for Grades 6 through 12.

The course will teach students the expertise in the use of technology as a means of motivation for middle and high school students. Using technology will help them attain higher levels of literacy and success across all content areas. Students of the course will also be trained in helping their students tap into the skills they use in their technology-oriented lives, not necessarily in classroom setting. This will help them improve their general literacy.
