M.S. in Education - Educational Leadership (Non-Licensure) (Grades K 12)

Walden University is now offering a course in Master of Science in Education, with a concentration in Educational Leadership. The course will teach students the skills, knowledge, and the experience to be able to lead students, teachers and schools. The program will also provide students the opportunity to help make an effect in the future of the educational field.
The curriculum of the course will reflect the standards for leadership education that has been developed by experts in the field. The program gives rigorous training for educators to become leaders in their educational institutions. However, the course will not give a certification for being principal or assistant principal. But it can be done through collaboration with the Harris County Department of Education located in Texas. The partnership is also known as the Principal Certification Academy. The program will teach what professionals need to know and do to enhance different opportunities and outcomes of learning, designed for all students.
