M.S. in Education - Elementary Reading and Literacy (PreK-6)

Students in the elementary level need to be trained well in Literacy and Reading, for these will be the basic knowledge necessary for them to advance to high school, college and the rest of their lives. Also, technology is now the usual means of communicating, which includes teaching Reading and Literacy. And technology is now integrated with the education system, with the reason that the field needs to keep up with the dynamic world. That is why there is a need for educators who have been trained to incorporate their curriculum and methods of teaching with technology.
Walden University is now offering a course in Master of Science in Education with the specialization of Elementary Reading and Literacy in the Pre-K until Grade 6 division. The course will teach its students ways of addressing technology-based literacy models of the modern generation, which will provide the students with latest research and strategies that will help increase children's achievement rates.
