M.S. Science & Mathematics Education

Oregon State University now the offers M.S. Science & Mathematics Education. This degree is fit for educators who want to have an expertise in science or mathematics, especially as a traditional K-12 educator. This degree program features two study options: Free-Choice Learning or School-Based. The Free-Choice Learning is designed for professional science and mathematics educators who are looking to provide experiences for learners to take an active role in science, math and technology-focused education. This degree program is suited for those who are going towards the direction of working in locations such as in science centers and museums, national and state parks, zoos, and aquariums.
The school-based M.S. Science & Mathematics Education option helps practicing K-12 educators gain knowledge of teaching mathematics or science beyond their teacher preparation program. Educators will gain an advantage from the program's dedication to strong subject-specific knowledge in mathematics or science, as well as the integration of current and emerging technologies. This degree program requires 45 credits from students in order to graduates.
