Associate - Medical Billing and Coding

RETS College offers an associate degree in Medical Billing and Coding to prepare students land a career as Medical Information Coders, Medical Insurance Specialists, Medical Information Specialists, Medical Insurance Processors, and other Medical administrative positions relating to medical billing and coding. The program is designed for students to have a foundation in document processing, along with integrated office systems software programs that gives specialized training in medical billing, billing and coding, medical transcription, medical records, and modern medical office procedures. Additionally, students are prepared to perform medical administrative job that entails the use of coding systems to classify medical data, use computer based medical management software, use industry-wide recognized word processing software, use uniform billing practices and abstract data.
