BS in Respiratory Care

Since associate degrees in respiratory care is found in most course offering of different colleges and vocational schools, many respiratory therapists working in hospitals and health care centers possess only an associate degree certificate which cannot get for them higher positions in the hospitals they are currently working in. Fortunately, a bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care is now offered by Grand Canyon University as an online course. Therefore, respiratory therapists who are currently working are now given the great option for continuing further studies, and getting more credentials in the field of respiratory care, without necessarily leaving their current employment.
To be admitted into the online degree program offered by GCU, the applicant must show a proof that he or she is a Registered Respiratory Therapist or RRT as certified by institutions for respiratory care such as NBRC. This program is available to both degree bearing and non-degree bearing individuals.
