Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy

Increasing troubles within familial relationships now requires virtuous counselors that are expert in fixing the issues that destroy good family relationships.

The Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy, offered by Liberty University, is the program that provides professionals and license holders that will solve the issues regarding family matter. The program will provide strong understanding of counseling strategies and principles, especially for Marriage and Family Therapists. Through giving this opportunity to the students, they are sure to have more employment opportunities. Hospital Program, Mental Health Agency, Ministry-related Counseling Center, Public or Private Facility, and Private Practice are among the courses that students will take up.

The course will focus on counseling theories and strategies, ethics, and dealing professional and legal issues. The requirements of the program are one month intensive programs, three-credit hour practicum, and three-credit hour OJT or on-job-training.
