Master of Arts in Professional Counseling - 60 Hour
The program Professional Counseling in University of Liberty now offers a 60-hour program. This program has been specialized by University of Liberty to meet the requirements of the state in giving license to those who want to be professional counselors. The University of Liberty is flexible and affordable according to the needs of the students.
The program Master of Arts in Professional Counseling 60-hour course provides students strong foundation on biblical scriptures and teachings. This course will still give students license and national certificate. This imparts students the knowledge, values and skills from the principles, philosophies, and concepts of the bible.
In order to finish the course, the students must finish three one-week studies of biblical philosophy, three-credit hour internship and three-credit hour seminar. After finishing the program, the students can choose careers in Hospital Program, Mental Health Agency, Ministry-Related Counseling Center, and Other Public or Private Facility, and also, Private Practice.
