Working Professional Doctor of Pharmacy

The University of Florida offers a distant study of Working Professional Doctor of Pharmacy degree. Course tools are delivered to students online and sent to them in CD or DVD multimedia presentations and textbooks. This course is aimed at pharmacy practitioners who wish to be further educated and enhance development of their abilities in the delivery of pharmaceutical care.
This degree program provides students with a comprehensive understanding of pathophysiology and therapeutics; application of skills to educate, counsel, monitor and conduct patient follow-up; the motivation to sustain competency; and an economically viable mode of practice. Students are also provided with components met by that of the Standards of Practice established by the American Pharmaceutical Association/American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy.
Students are granted the benefits of working while learning under this course at the comfort of their own home or in their workplace, and in full convenience with their schedule.
