Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice - Cyber Crime

Technology has a growing influence among everyone in this world. The digital natives are transforming the world into a computer-dependent society. And this becomes a particular target for unscrupulous individuals who are now shifting to technology-mediated ways of conducting their crimes.
Cyber crime may range from stalking people using computers or stealing identities of people using social networking sites in the internet. Graver crimes may involve disrupting information centers through hacking computer systems or establishing sites for pornography. The job of cyber crime specialists is to track down the organizers of this criminal activities and the imprisonment of the perpetrators of crime. A follow up activity after the incarceration of the cyber criminals is to prevent further cyber crimes from happening.
Graduate of cyber crime studies may opt to be employed as law enforcers especially enforcing internet and networking laws, identity theft specialists, private investigator or as members of CIA.
