B.S. Fisheries and Wildlife

Students taking Oregon State University's B.S. Fisheries and Wildlife have the opportunity to explore ecological restoration and conservation through practical experience. Faced with the advent of industrialization, the unfortunate environment degradation that led to climate change increased the need for environment friendly measures, as well as experts who can provide suggestions for these measures. No creature on earth is spared from the effects of climate change. Every fauna and flora is affected one way or another. This degree is an applied, science-based program focused on maintaining the balance for species and habitats in the wild.
Students have the unique opportunity to choose their specialization area in order to develop knowledge and skills in order to make vital decisions about fish, wildlife and other delicate environments in which they live in. The university's B.S. Fisheries and Wildlife degree program also provides hands-on internships in order for students to be able to prepare for a variety of careers in the field.
