B.S. General Agriculture

Oregon State University's B.S. General Agriculture is a degree program for individuals who are interested in a variety of agricultural disciplines. This nationally recognized degree program will help students develop leadership and communication skills, identify the agricultural career where students are interested in, and in building a course of study that is best for accommodating the students' goals.

This degree gives the students the opportunity to customize their curriculum by giving focus on a minor. The different fields such as animal sciences, crop and solid sciences and agricultural business management will also be given to interested students. Graduate of this degree program can pursue advance degrees, start their own enterprise, or work for private companies and government agencies in a wide range of agriculturally related fields such as inspectors, research technicians, and teachers. This degree program has been proven successful for new students as well as the experienced farmer or rancher. Students are required to complete a total of at least 180 credits.
