Master of Science in Criminal Justice - Cyber Crime

The specialized course of Cyber Crime under the Science of Criminal Justice is designed to further one's knowledge, application and skills relating to the field of cyber crime. Skills and knowledge such as the recovery of digital information and other crimes related to criminal activities on the internet. This program is open to current law enforcement personnel with related fields in computer related crimes and activities as well as those looking to enter the field of cyber crime law enforcement.
Cyber crime or computer crime deals with hacking, copyright infringement and child pornography. There are also crimes of privacy when confidential information is lost or intercepted, lawfully or otherwise. This program offers studies specific to this concentration include networks and computer systems, digital forensics and cyber crime and security. The graduates of this program are prepared to use this knowledge for advancement under law enforcement, correctional, political, and legal arenas. Students under this program are offered the same concepts and studies taught at campus locations while enjoying the convenience of attending class online anytime.
