Ph.D. in Applied Management and Decision Sciences - Engineering Management

Walden University is now offering a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Applied Management and Decision Sciences, with a concentration on Engineering Management. The course aims to help engineers have higher educational attainment, which will help them find higher positioned and higher paying jobs.

The course will allow practicing engineers who plan to move into management, and learn the social aspects of the specialization. Engineers who already are managers may take the course as well, and learn more about behavioral aspects of management, which will help improve their careers and professions.

The program will allow students to design a program of study that incorporates students' different expertise and interests. Students will be required to focus on scholarly research that can be applied immediately through hands on trainings. As students gain more knowledge and acquire more skills, their credentials will increase as well, giving a bigger impact in their professions, especially as engineering managers and leaders.
