A.A.S. in Fire Science

Firefighters are the guards of private and public properties. There are complicated things directly related to fire incidents, and these will be mastered by students who will enroll in Associate in Applied Science in Fire Science, offered by Kaplan University.
Firefighters are not just responsible in answering to fire alarm calls. When they are not in the fire scene, they are in the office making and compiling reports on fire incidents. The basics in making reports on fire related cases would be tackled in the degree courses that students will be learning.
Students will learn the different approaches in fire protection and investigation. Another field of concentration would be disaster and fire defense planning. They will also have background in hazardous materials, and the importance of the fire service in the community.
Upon completion of the online program, graduates are already familiar with the different codes related to fire prevention and safety.
