Bachelor of Arts in Women's Studies - Degree Completion Program

UMass (University of Massachusetts) Online offers a Bachelor of Arts in Women's Studies Degree Completion Program, which is aimed at providing a feminist perspective to skills and principles attached to an associate's (or equivalent) degree. Women's struggles and rights have been one of the biggest issues discussed in the 21st century, and it is of importance to be adept in dealing with matters that factor in how others deal with women, based on their classes, races, ethnicities, sexualities, religions, and ages. With the mindset of treating women here as subjects, and not only as objects of the study, will students be exposed to the wide spectrum of the feminist perspective; from the classical feminists to post-modern critiques. This will account for a full outlook in relevant women's issues.
This degree allows for occupations in fields such as the arts, business, education, health care, media, politics, law, social services, and psychology.
