BS - Criminal Justice
A BS in Criminal Justice provides students with a basic overview on the field of criminal justice and court systems. This degree program is best suited for students who are interested in entering the fields of public safety, law enforcement, corrections, and courts, as well as for professionals who already have careers in criminal justice, but still wants to assume more responsible roles. Graduates of this degree program will also be eligible to further pursue a master's degree.
Capella University now offers the Bachelor of Science Criminal Justice online. This will allow working professionals to attend to their duties while still completing the degree program. Students will be engaged in courses such as Criminal Law, Sociology, Criminal Justice Management, The Courts Systems, Crime Scene Investigations, and Ethics. They may also move onto Security Management should they wish to. Students will be able to get a good grasp of communication skills and computer applications, making them more efficient in the field.
