Master of Science in Criminal Justice 1 Year program

The Master of Science in Criminal Justice program has a curriculum that is designed for criminal justice professionals and other professionals in a related field to gain a higher level of understanding and develop set skills that applies to the filed of Criminal Justice. The course is organized into four parts; administration and policy, theory, research, and special topics. Also included in the program are content based courses as well as a demonstration project that will test their course knowledge to real world policy issues.
Criminal justice deals with the study of crime as a social phenomenon, the different causes of crime, criminal behavior, and other related fields in the criminal justice system. The program prepares its graduates to respond to emerging trends, assume leadership roles, and have an applied knowledge base in criminal justice. The course has a 48 credit program that consists of 8 quarters of study and can be completed in as less as one year with full-time study.
