Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision - Trauma and Crisis

The Ph.D. program on Trauma and Crisis is one of the newest courses offered in Walden University. It is a degree that gives emphasis on the different theories and practices applied in trauma and crisis management. Students will get to work with individuals or groups who are recovering from their experiences, and are introduced to different solutions and strategies that can help in dealing or responding to persons affected by natural disasters, rape, abuse, kidnapping, terrorism, and war. Many people undergo different hardships every day. But with excellent training, managers and other working professionals can learn the most effective responses to crises in both the individual and societal level. National and international crises are also part of the topics that will be studied in the course.
