Brandeis University

Brandeis University is a private research university with focus on liberal arts. Situated in Waltham in the state of Massachusetts, the Brandeis University had about 3,200 undergraduate students and around 2,100 graduate students. Established in 1948 as a coeducational, non-sectarian institution, the expansion of the university was achieved through the founding of the Heller School for Social Policy and Management in 1959. The Heller School is renowned for its graduate programs in social work, social policy, and international development. In 1962, the Brandeis University achieved the accreditation of Phi Beta Kappa, in a short span of 14 years. The university was elected as a member of the Association of American Universities in 1985.
