Capella University was established in 1993 but it had grown to a very large university within 2 decades. At present, more than 30,000 students attend the online programs of the Capella University from the all the 50 states of the United States and from 56 other foreign countries.

The Capella University provides 21 bachelor degree programs, 67 master degree programs, 36 doctorate degree programs, and 2 post-master certificate programs.
