Fordham University
Fordham University was established in 1841 as St. John's College in Rose Hill and had grown as an independent university conducted in the Jesuit tradition. The university is running the Fordham College at Rose Hill, College of Business Administration, Fordham College of Liberal Studies, Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, and the Graduate School of Religion and Religious Education at the Rose Hill Campus.
In the Lincoln Center campus established in 1961, the Fordham College at Lincoln Center, Fordham College of Liberal Studies, Graduate School of Business Administration, Graduate School of Education, Graduate School of Social Service, and School of Law are run. The campus established in Westchester in 1976 was relocated to West Harrison in 2008. The Fordham University had also founded the Louis Calder Center - Biological Field Station with laboratories.

The graduate programs and doctoral programs are provided in the fields of biological sciences, classical languages and civilization, communication and media studies, computer and information science, economics, elections and campaign management, English, ethics and society, health care ethics, humanities and sciences, international political economy and development, Latin American and Latino studies, medieval studies, philosophy, philosophical resources, political science, psychology, sociology and anthropology, theology, and urban studies. The Fordham University presents the students with a unique opportunity of early admissions master's program, through which the students can complete the bachelor and the master degree in 5 years.
Cost of Studies and Financial Aid for Programs of Fordham University
The average cost of tuition per credit is about $1,190 for the master and doctoral degree programs. The tuition fees for full-time students are about $35,825 per year, while they are $1,194 per credit for part-time students. The full-time programs are between 12 and 18 credits per term. If the students take more than 18 credits, additional tuition fees are charged. For undergraduate students, the tuition fees are around $650 per credit. Room and board charges are around $13,716 per year for full time students. Other fees of about $1,057 are also payable by the students.
The students who qualify for financial aid are eligible to receive stipends, supplements, and tuition scholarships. The scholarships are either full scholarship covering up to 24 credits during an academic year, or partial scholarship covering up to a maximum of 50% of the tuition fees or aid in the completion of fewer credits. Students are also allowed to apply for grants under FAFSA under the guidance of the Financial Aid Office of the Fordham University.
