Golden Gate University or GGU was established in San Francisco in 1901. The university offers undergraduate and graduate programs in taxation, information technology, law, and business management. The Golden Gate University had been accredited to the Western Association of Schools and Colleges or WASC. The School of Law of the university is accredited with the American Bar Association, the Association of American Law Schools, and the State Bar of California. Apart from the main campus in San Francisco, the Golden Gate University had established campuses in Los Angeles, Seattle, and Silicon Valley. CyberCampus of Golden Gate University

The online division of the Golden Gate University had been designated as CyberCampus to assist the students who are unable to attend campus courses and had been functioning for the last 10 years. The CyberCampus offers 4 undergraduate certificate programs, 7 graduate certificate programs, 7 bachelor degrees, and 12 master degree programs entire on an online learning basis. The delivery format of the online division of the Golden Gate University had been designed in a state-of-the-art environment, with streaming audio and video, voice-over PowerPoint presentations, podcasting, shared online communities, student service tools, demonstration courses, and special training courses, with nearly 4,000 archived courses available online. The entire teaching system is asynchronous, allowing the students to attend the courses anytime from anywhere.

Admissions are conducted in fall, spring, and summer trimesters. The CyberCampus provides an Enrollment Advisor to each student at the time of admission to help the students in the registration process and in obtaining financial aid through scholarships and other aid programs. The faculty also consists of experts that include working professionals in the respective fields to impart high level of knowledge and skill to the students.
