Lancaster Bible College & Graduate School

The Lancaster Bible College & Graduate School established in 1933, prides itself as it centralizes it's focus with the teachings of the bible and yet creating a strong foundation for all Christian men and women. It values in the development of the whole being, like Head, Heart and Hands - Academically, Spiritually and live to serve Jesus Christ. It's located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. It's also close to Philadelphia and Baltimore. The college was certified by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.

Programs Offered

The Lancaster Bible College or also known as LBC offers 25 different undergraduate programs, 14 graduate programs like DCP - Degree Completion Program and IBE - Institute of Biblical Enrichment, which are made available on campus and online as well. It offers these to more than a 1,000 students from various countries. The library is one of the largest among the Bible colleges.

Credits

Students will be able to transfer credits from the previous institutions however it needs to accredited. Prior learning credits are also given and it termed as 'Life Learning Credit. The Life Learning Credits are from sources like military, workshops, projects completed, seminars, trainings, work experience, ministry experience, or examinations taken. Students can also attend a host of non-credited courses at Lancaster, New York, Coatesville and Elizabethtown.

Online Degree Program

The College provides for an online degree program that has the quality of an On-campus degree program yet can be completed faster that the regular campus program, which benefits students who prefer to focus on their career yet want to pursue a degree. The courses are divided into modules and the student has the liberty to complete on module after another at the pace that is best suited to them. A few of its online degree completion objectives are: completion of a degree course within 10 courses based on a student's credits. The program also keeps a student's career goals in mind and provides guidance in communication, leadership skills and ministry skills. Every student is given individual attention and guidance is aspects that can be difficult to achieve and more.

Biblical aspect

Every student has a host of options under professional ministry programs, providing Bible education in a bachelor's degree. Students are also given the option to achieve a Master of Education or Master of Arts, as 40% of its syllabus focuses on Bible study.

Extra Curriculum Activities

The Lancaster Bible College is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association or also known as NCAA, a fellowship that involves colleges, universities, organizations and individuals to conduct program related to athletics headquartered in Indianapolis. A team of men and women forming 12 different teams in areas like soccer, basketball, tennis and volleyball etc are from the Lancaster Bible College. The college also has other fellowship programs, an active student government and encourage every individual to participate is various sports competition or performances.
