Malone University

Malone University initially called Cleveland Bible College was founded and established in 1892, by Walter and Emma Malone. Later in the year 1957, as a tribute to Walter and Emma Malone the college was renamed ' Malone College' only in 2008 this institute gained the status 'Malone University. This university is a Christian Institution, it is also a private one, which is associated to Evangelical Friends Church, and is situated in Canton in the state of Ohio.

Accreditation

The Malone University received its accreditation from North Central Association of Schools and Colleges. The university is also a part of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities.

Courses

The Malone University offers more than 40 undergraduate programs divided among its six different schools. Some of the Courses offered by the university are: Arts and Sciences, Continuing Studies, Education, Nursing, Theology and many more. It also has majors and minors such as, Adult fitness, Clinical Laboratory, Commercial Music Technology, Educational Ministries, Exercise Science, Forensic Chemistry and many more. Its degree programs like Mathematics, Music Ministry, Outdoor Leadership, Philosophy etc to name a few, where students also have the option to complete their Masters as well.

Online Courses

The University also provides online courses, to help individuals in their hectic life and careers to complete a degree program at the comfort of their time and schedule. The main objective of its online course is to develop an active and learning environment at the same time keeping its students involved with the syllabus.

The courses also create a platform for its students to be in constant touch with each other and also have faculty members who are made available online. This is fulfilled through discussion boards, forums, emails, chats etc. Right from students asking a question to it being answered, to discussion on the various modules, assignment completion, evaluation of projects and feedback are all made easy and available online for any student to be able to assess or find information anytime, anywhere.

Student Life

The University has an athletic team called the Pioneers, that participate in the NAIA or otherwise known as National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics and even the American Mideast Conference, they also vie in the National Christian College Athletic Association. The University also has a football team that participates in the Mid-States Football Association. They also a have a Swimming and Diving team, with a student government on campus and a separate men's' and women's teams the university also participates in completions like theater, music etc.
