Northwestern College
This is a Christ centered university that aims to provide education with an understanding of religious morals and values. Regardless of what major you might have been enrolled in, thirty credits of Bible are mandatory. This creates a unique curriculum, aimed to help students develop technical skills as well as social skills and think differently while being the best at what they do. Roots of the university
Northwestern College is over thirty years old and is located in the twin cities in Minnesota. Founded with the intention of imparting world class education, it has a motto of "faith, learning and living". The university prides itself in having a strong student body of over 3000 students. This includes students from multiple backgrounds like undergraduate as well as graduate programs. You can find a lot of combinations to study in, with no necessity to focus only on biblical or theological studies. Things like engineering and accounting are also offered, with the mandatory bible credits.
Thriving campus
With a 100 acre campus, students have plenty of room to hang around different areas and do something to pass their free time. There are lounges, recreation facilities, game rooms and a pool and sauna among other things. The city is a beautiful one, with a lot to offer for any visitor. Unlike some of the other crowded cities around the state, this is a well flourishing one, with a lot of attractions to help pass the time. Additionally, the college also has shuttle service to take students from the university to the shopping centers, except on Sundays.
There are a lot of sports that the students are encourages to take part in. Some of the sports include sledding, ice skating, cross country skiing, golf, baseball, soccer and tennis, to name a few. The athletic crowd in the university is quite an active one and if you used to play some sport in your high school, you should be able to continue the sport even after joining this fine institution. The academic programs are flexible to accommodate the requirements of the athletic individuals and you should be able to get what you want without having to worry about your schedule. On the whole, it is a pretty good university that works hard at being a wholesome institution to study in.
